Ahmed has over 40 years of experience working in the hospitality industry in Europe, Africa and Asia. He specializes in institutional foodservice systems & equipment, commercial refrigeration, solid and liquid waste management systems. He is a stalwart of the foodservice industry, being a professional member of the Foodservice Consultants Society International for over 32 years.
Ahmed is renowned for the design of the largest central food production facility in Asia at Resort World Genting with a production capacity of a staggering 44 Million meals per annum.
Ahmed is certified by Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM) for understanding & implementing HACCP and attended courses for HAS (Halal Assurance System).
He has attended various specialized training courses related to his field in Germany, England and USA.
He has a Masters Degree in Food Service Engineering & Management from Université Toulouse – Jean Jaurès, France.
